The Rocket then scored 3 more goals to take the lead 4-1 before the end of the second period. Jimmy Oligny, Éric Robichaud & Matej Beran were the scorer.

The Olympiques reduced the lead to two goals at the beginning of the third with a shorthanded goal from Émile Poirier (Burke). However, Ben Duffy (Chénier-Allard & Beran) scored once again a few minutes later.  Matther Bursey (Micallef & Beran ) completed the score.
