19 QMJHL players selected in the 2022 NHL Entry Draft

No less than 19 Quebec Major Junior Hockey League players heard their names get called at the 2022 NHL Entry Draft.

Of those prospects, an impressive total of 12 are defensemen, while only six forwards and one goalie were selected.

The Gatineau Olympiques were the QMJHL’s best represented franchise with three of their prospects being taken (Warren, Luneau and Savoie).

On the NHL side of things, the Anaheim Ducks were the team that most frequently drafted from the Q, with three of their prospects out of Quebec (Gaucher, Warren and Luneau).
