Lemieux in preventive isolation after contact with a confirmed case

Val-d’Or Foreurs goaltender Jonathan Lemieux will remain in preventive isolation for the next 14 days after a negative COVID-19 test. The 19-year old from St-Hyacinthe, QC had been in close contact with a confirmed case last Monday.

Per the League’s protocol, he was immediately isolated and has since then not had any contacts with either teammates or staff members. The Val-d’Or Foreurs are authorized to pursue their activities and play against the Rimouski Océanic this weekend.
