Last game for Alain Rioux

The Quebec Major Junior Hockey League would like to acknowledge the work of one of its officials who participated in his last game, Saturday in Val-d’Or, M. Alain Rioux.

Together with League management, Mr. Rioux visited several arenas and worked with fellow officials of his choosing before completing his last game.

Over the past 19 seasons, Mr. Rioux participated in 401 regular season games and 37 playoff games. He also had the honour of being selected to the 2003-04 QMJHL All Star Game that was held in Montreal.

In appreciation, the QMJHL presented him with one of his jerseys autographed by his colleagues.

The QMJHL would like to congratulate him on reaching this milestone and thank him for all his years of service.
