Fan of the Week | Micheline Lemonnier (Baie-Comeau)

There are many ways to get involved as a hockey team’s fan. For many, wearing the team colors and showing up to every game is the one of the best ways to show your support towards your favorite team.

For Micheline Lemonnier however, that wasn’t enough. That’s why this die-hard Drakkar fan decided to official join the team’s ranks by becoming its national anthem singer prior to all home games. It’s with all the passion and enthusiasm in the world that she walks out on the Centre Henry-Léonard ice prior to the opening face-off in order to sing the words that officially launch that day’s matchup.

Micheline isn’t active only on game nights. She’s constantly offering players her support on different posts that the Drakkar publishes on its social media accounts. For each message shared by the organization, you can expect to read a “GO Drakkar GO” along with a few kind words of encouragement in the comments.

It’s thanks to people as passionate as Micheline that the Drakkar franchise keeps moving forward with the same vigor on a daily basis.

Thank you for your commitment to our large family Micheline!
