Fan of the Week | Gabriel Lafrenaye (Cataractes)

Gabriel is a long-time Cataractes fan. In 2012, during the Memorial Cup Tournament that was held in Shawinigan, Gabriel quickly stood out in the sold-out crowd thanks to the gigantic yellow tomahawk that he crafted and brought with him to every game.

Whether you believe or not, Gabriel’s lucky charm allowed him to witness a memorable run by the Cataractes that ended with them lifting the Memorial Cup. Since then, he’s been bringing it to every game!

When the team scores, he makes it his duty to stand up and wave it around so that the crowd can get into it and join in on the celebrations. The Cataractes organization is truly blessed to be able to rely on loyal and unique fans such as Gabriel.
