Fan of the Week | Claude Leblanc (Olympiques)

Claude Leblanc is the ideal candidate for the QMJHL’s Fan of the Week.

Claude has held a season ticket for 13 years now. However, he has been following the Gatineau Olympiques since 1973, during the Hull Festivals era, when his father used to take him out to watch games. It goes without saying, he has been a long-time supporter of the franchise.

In addition to his season tickets, Claude is involved in the Olympiques Fan Club where he serves the role of vice-president. His love for the Fan Club and its members earned him increased involvement with the Outaouais organization during the pandemic.

Being retired, Claude has a lot of free time and takes care of the safety and cleanliness of the Olympiques’ arena. During practices and on game days, you can always find him standing at the main entrance, where he allows the team to stay focused on its performances rather than on the distractions surrounding this global pandemic.

For your involvement and your love of the Olympiques, the Gatineau organization and the entire QMJHL family would like to thank you very much Claude!
