Community Involvement | Tristan Bérubé (Titan)

Tristan Berube has been an exemplary figure as a member of the Acadie-Bathurst Titan this season and is fully deserving of recognition for his contributions to the betterment of the community. Through his off-ice actions, Berube has proven many times that he would be an ideal candidate to receive the Humanitarian Player Award.

Since the beginning of the season, Tristan has participated in every community initiative the Titan has been involved in. The veteran goaltender has made multiple visits to the Robert J. Knowles Veterans Unit, where he took the time to chat with veterans and deliver them some of the teddy bears that were collected during the team’s Teddy Bear Toss Game. Tristan has also hoped on the ice with some local kids, attending minor hockey practices through the Bathurst Minor Hockey Association. He also took part in the Rotary Food Drive back in October.

Despite his very busy schedule as a student-athlete, Berube is always the first one to volunteer when there is an opportunity to give back to the community. “Just tell me where and when, and I’ll be there”, he always said. Berube only spent his final QMJHL season in Bathurst, but he made the best of his time in the community and made sure to lead by example for the next generation of Titan veterans.
