Carl Bouchard leaves the QMJHL

The Quebec Major Junior Hockey League and the Director of Hockey Operations, Pierre Leduc, today announced that the Director of Central Scouting, Carl Bouchard, leaves the league after five years of leading the scouting department.

Bouchard took this position in the summer of 2014 after many years of service with the Chicoutimi Saguenéens both as an Assistant General Manager and Head Scout. He also worked and for the QMJHL Central Scouting department in the 90s. 

“He’s been a leader for his group of scouts throughout his time with the league. He has been a great resource for the 18 teams for the last five years and he was highly respected by his colleagues,” said Pierre Leduc. “On behalf of the league, our teams and myself, I would like to thank Carl for his contribution, his professionalism and his loyalty to the QMJHL.”
