A Saguenéens staff member tests positive for COVID-19

A staff member of the Chicoutimi Saguenéens has received a positive COVID-19 test.

After the epidemiological investigation, it has been determined that the infected person was not in close contact with players or members of the hockey staff within the team environment. Per the league’s protocols and measures taken by the organization, the duration of exposure, the symptoms presented by the infected person at the time of exposure and the environment where the exposure occurred were all considered in the risk assessment.

Therefore, with the level of exposure considered as being virtually non-existent, the Saguenéens can continue their regular activities.
