4 QMJHL players will represent Canada at 2022 Hlinka-Gretzky Cup


A total of four players currently suiting up in the QMJHL will be part of Canada’s National Men’s Summer Under-18 Team during the 2022 Hlinka Gretzky Cup in Red Deer, Alta.

Here are the four QMJHL representatives taking part in the tournament from July 31 to August 6:



  • MacKINNON, Dylan | Riverview, N.B. // Halifax Mooseheads
  • TOURIGNY, Jordan | Victoriaville, Que // Shawinigan Cataractes


  • CATAFORD, Mathieu | Saint-Constant, Que // Halifax Mooseheads
  • GAUTHIER, Ethan | Drummondville, Que // Sherbrooke Phœnix


Among the team personnel, you can also find the squad’s Head Coach Stéphane Julien (Shawinigan, Que/Sherbrooke, QMJHL), Video Coach Raphaël-Pier Richer (Gatineau, Que/Gatineau, QMJHL), Equipment Manager Andrew MacNeill (Charlottetown, P.E.I./Charlottetown, QMJHL) and Athletic Therapist Lucie Grandmont (Montréal, Que/Sherbrooke, QMJHL).
