36 players selected in 2019 American QMJHL Entry Draft

BOUCHERVILLE, Que. – After seeing 252 players get selected in the 2019 QMJHL Draft held in Quebec City this past Saturday, 36 other players were selected in the American QMJHL Entry Draft earlier today.

Each of the 18 QMJHL franchises got their hands on two players that come from the south of the Canadian border. These players all originate from the six states from which the QMJHL is allowed to draft from, including; Connecticut, Maine, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Rhode Island and Vermont.

This past season, nine American-born players suited up in the QMJHL. Within them were the names of Gregory Kreutzer (Sherbrooke) Jake Ryczek (Halifax) and Dylan Seitz (Moncton).
