2017 QMJHL NEW ENGLAND COMBINE

The Quebec Major Junior Hockey League (QMJHL) is proud to announce the first QMJHL Combine for perspective players in the New England region (Massachusetts, Maine, Rhode Island, Connecticut, Vermont and New Hampshire), which will be held on May 6th and 7th at New England Sports Village in Attleboro, Massachusetts.

This event will showcase players for scouts of all 18 QMJHL teams and QMJHL Central Scouting.

The Combine will include: On-Ice & Off-Ice Testing, games as well as classroom sessions, keynote speakers with prominent alumni and Q & A sessions. Players will also attend a dinner hosted by the QMJHL on the Saturday night.

After the Combine, players will be provided with their on-ice and off-ice testing results to identify strengths and areas of improvement.

The mission of the Quebec Major Junior Hockey League is to develop players for professional hockey while supporting them throughout their academic endeavors to mold them into responsible and educated citizens.

Registration for the Combine is $100.00 per player and does not impact your NCAA eligibility.

About the QMJHL

Since its creation, the Major junior hockey circuit has witnessed several great players launch their careers and make a mark on the League in his own way. Builders, players and coaches have all contributed to the rise and excellence of major junior hockey.

Alumni from the QMJHL represents a good portion of the NHL’s elite players. The pipeline of offensive talents to the NHL runs steadily with impact players such as Sidney Crosby, Claude Giroux, Brad Marchand, Patrice Bergeron, Keith Yandle, Nathan Mackinnon, and Conor Garland. Furthermore, the QMJHL has become known to be the best development league for elite goaltenders with Patrick Roy, Martin Brodeur, Roberto Luongo, Marc-Andre Fleury, Ondrej Pavelec and Corey Crawford all learning their trade within the league.

It is with great pride that the QMJHL offers an opportunity to young hockey players to develop their dream of making the jump to professional hockey while enabling them to earn their degrees so that they may become leaders in tomorrow’s society.
