Moose headed to Semi-Finals after classic

The impossible happened tonight in Quebec City in front of 11,000 plus fans.

The Halifax Mooseheads completed the improbable comeback Tuesday night at Le Colisee. Cameron Critchlow, the 20yr old captain playing in what could have been his last possible game of junior, scored 4 goals to lead the Mooseheads charge.  Jonathan Drouin, a 16yr old who joined the Herd halfway through the season, scored one of the biggest goals in Mooseheads history 15 minutes into overtime to complete the comeback.  Drouin added 2 assists for a 3 point night.  Fucale with a memorable 41 save performance in the win as the Remparts outshot the Moose 45-29.  This write up doesn’t do this game justice but it will have to do.

The Mooseheads will now open the QMJHL Semi-Finals Friday night against the Rimouski Oceanic at 7pm at the Halifax Metro Centre.  Game 2 goes Saturday night at the Metro Centre.  6-packs go on sale Wednesday at 11am for Season Ticket Holders.  Individual tickets for the General Public go on sale Thursday, April 20th for games 1 and 2 this weekend.  For tickets visit the Ticket Atlantic Box Office, select Superstore Outlets,, or 451-1221.
