Moose win 6th in a row in Drummondville


It wasn’t pretty, but the Mooseheads have won their 6th in a row.


The Herd were outworked by a pesky Drummondville Voltigeurs team but still managed to capitalize on their chances to escape with a 5-2 win.  The Volts outshot the Herd 28-18, including 17-7 over the final 2 periods.  Scoring for the Moose were Stefan Fournier, Marty Frk, Mac Weegar, Luca Ciampini and Nathan Mackinnon into the empty net.  Fournier also added 2 assists.  Zach Fucale was very solid in goal making 26 saves, including several highlight reel saves during a 5-3 disadvantage for the Moose.  The win improves the Mooseheads record to 8-1 on the season.
