Callum Booth named the VAUGHN Goaltender of the Month

BOUCHERVILLE, Monday, January 4, 2016 – The Quebec Major Junior Hockey League today announced that Callum Booth is the VAUGHN Goaltender of the Month for December.

The native of Montreal who is in the midst of his third season with the Quebec Remparts registered six wins in nine starts over the course of the past four weeks. He maintained a 2.39 goals-against-average and .915 save percentage. Moreover, he collected a shutout by stopping 36 shots versus the Armada on December 18.

Selected by the Carolina Hurricanes in the fourth round of the last NHL Entry Draft, Booth is ranked sixth amongst all QMJHL netminder with a .905 save percentage.

The Remparts trail the Cataractes by only one point in the Eastern Division standings in large part due to Booth’s solid play.
