Courtney started her career with the Wildcats back in October of 2012 as a co-op student from St-Vincent University. After graduation, she spent a period of time working with a non-profit organization in Halifax before rejoining the Moncton Wildcats Hockey Club as a full-time employee in July of 2015. She quickly established herself as a great asset to the organization. Courtney’s dream has always been to work in the sports industry, and she made it very clear that she would do anything to get the opportunity to learn the industry, all while working for the Wildcats. She has worked with and helped build our community programs including “Reading is Wild” and “Allstar School programs”. Courtney is now the Marketing, Communication and Game Day manager for the Moncton Wildcats. She is responsible for a big piece of our operations, including game day activities, social media and team interaction within the tri-community area, just to name a few. She has been a driving force with our annual Season Kick-off BBQ and Santa Claus Parade float.
Her attention to detail and creativity has earned her the respect and trust of her co-workers, management and peers in the industry. Her work ethic is also one of her biggest assets and she always goes above and beyond to make sure the organization is well represented.
It is very clear that Courtney has a passion for the sports industry and is hoping to graduate one day to major leagues as a key asset for a pro team.
