The Moncton Wildcats win a season high 5th in a row handling the Chicoutimi Sagueneens 4-1 Saturday night at the Coliseum in front of 3,712.
Alain Saulnier(1g 1a) , Mark Tremaine(1g 1a), Yannick Veilleux and Ryan Perry(1g 1a) scored as Moncton held period leads of 1-0 after the 1st and 2-0 entering the 3rd. Alex Saulnier chipped in with 2 helpers.
Alex Dubeau was steady all night. The Sags were able to spoil the shutout bid with just over 2 and a half minutes left with a powerplay goal. Chicoutimi was 1-6 on the PP, Wildcats 1-3.
Cats won all 4 games on their home stand and will now play their next 3 on the road starting Tuesday in Rouyn Noranda.
