Dmitri Jaskin’s 4 point (2g 2a) performance propelled the Moncton Wildcats to 6-2 victory in Gatineau
Saturday night.
Moncton scored 3 times(2 by Jaskin) in the games first 11 minutes, and never looked back skating to their 12th win of the season. Chris Lalonde (1g 1a), Mark Tremaine (1g 1a), Ross Johnston and Brayden Wood also chipped in.
For Wood it’s his first in the QMJHL. Cole Horowenko picks up his first victory, in the Q, as the Cats outshot the Olympique 28-20.
Jaskin has collected points in nine consecutive games (7g 11a) and now lead the Wildcats in scoring with 17 goals and 14 assists for 31 points.
