Titan’s George Willett named Hockey Canada U18 Educational Consultant
Acadie-Bathurst, Titan

Acadie-Bathurst Titan academic advisor George Willett will be taking some time away from his duties with the team for a good reason. A retired school teacher and guidance counselor, Mr. Willett was named the educational consultant for the Hockey Canada Under-18 team that will represent the country at the upcoming IIHF World Under-18 Hockey Championship in Poprad and Spisska Nova Ves, Slovakia from April 13 – 23, 2017.

Mr. Willett joined the Titan in January of 2014 originally as an assistant to the academic advisor, but assumed full responsibilities prior to the conclusion of the 2014-2015 season and has become an invaluable member of the Titan family. Drawing upon his many years served as an educator, George has helped foster a number of players’ educational journey through the Quebec Major Junior Hockey League.

The Titan hockey club wishes George and the rest of Team Canada the best of luck as they begin their journey to gold.
