SEA DOGS: Winter Road Classic to be held tonight

Saint John Sea Dogs

SAINT JOHN – In honour of Canada 150, and in celebration of our favourite winter sport, the Saint John Sea Dogs will host the Winter Road Hockey Classic in the heart of Canada’s first incorporated city.

The Sea Dogs are pleased and proud to join forces with Top Corner Hockey to create two teams for the event set for Monday, November 27th, at 6 p.m. on Prince William Street in front of Saint John High School.

All Sea Dogs players will be there to show off their skills and have some fun in the community.

“It’s going to be an exciting night with our fans and all of Saint John,” said Sea Dogs President and General Manager Trevor Georgie. “We’re honoured to team up with Top Corner Hockey and bring our game to the streets, where so many hockey dreams begin. It doesn’t get more Canadian than this!”

Complimentary coffee, hot chocolate and Timbits will be available, courtesy of Tim Hortons.

For comfort, we encourage fans to bring lawn chairs and dress very warmly. The game is expected to last one hour.

This event is weather-permitting.

Please join our celebration!
