Allain Saulnier, Anthony Duclair and Alexandre Bélanger were named today the TELUS three stars of the week for November 19th to the 25th. It was a colossal week of 9 points in 3 games for Allain Saulnier, the Moncton Wildcats forward, whilst his brother Alex collected 7 points and his teammate Yannick Veilleux picked up 8. During the 3 games won by the Wildcats, he contributed an assist on each one of the 3 goals scored by Yannick Veilleux. Wednesday, in a 4-2 win against the Cape Breton Screaming Eagles, Saulnier collected 3 points, including 1 goal and 2 assists as well as a +/- of +2. Saturday, in a 6-5 win against the Baie-Comeau Drakkar, he scored 2 goals and added 2 assist. The first of the 4 points made him the 6th player in franchise history to obtain a 200th point during the regular season with the team. Finally, on Sunday against the Halifax Mooseheads, he recorded 2 or more points for a 3rd consecutive game, coinciding with a third straight victory for the Wildcats.

In 3 games, Anthony Duclair the Quebec Remparts forward collected 7 points, including 5 assists for a +/- of +5. Wednesday, in a 9-3 win against the Acadie-Bathurst Titan, he contributed two goals and added one assist and a +/- of +2. He was also named the second star of the game. Friday, in another win, 6-0, against the Sherbrooke Phoenix, he contributed three assists and a +/- of +2 in addition to being named the third star of the game. Last Sunday, in a 2-1 loss for the Remparts, he collected one assist.

In 2 Huskies wins, the 17 year old Rouyn-Noranda goaltender, Alexandre Bélanger, signed his first career shutout in the QMJHL, maintaining an average of 1.00 and a save percentage of .961. Friday, against the Shawinigan Cataractes, he made 25 saves and was named the 1st star of the game. Saturday, versus the Acadie-Bathurst Titan, he made 24 saves and won his fifth consecutive start. In total, Bélanger has seven wins and one shootout loss in 2012-13 with a goals-against-average of 2.94. Never has a rookie goaltender played at least 10 games for the Huskies, and managed to maintain a GAA under 3.00 in one season.
