#Our18 : Three questions facing Rimouski Oceanic

1) Little experience of goaltenders?
The Oceanic has 2 goaltenders to develop. In total, Ellis and Lemay played 20 games in the QMJHL. The work of goaltenders coach Michaël Rioux will be paramount in the progress of the 2 goaltenders. Who will take the pole position remains to be seen.

“We have put together a defense that is still experienced. There is a 20-year-old and 3 19-year-olds. We trust our goaltenders. We must trust our elements.” -Serge Beausoleil

2) What will be the impact of Alexis Lafrenière?
Alexis Lafrenière has already demonstrated that he is ready for the QMJHL level of play. In 4 preseason games, he scored 10 times. He will definitely fight for the rookie of the year title.

“We will try to push him beyond his limits. You have to get him beyond that. I think he has a lot of things to learn, both on the ice and off the ice. He has a very good head on his shoulders to deal with that.” -Serge Beausoleil

3) What will be the chemistry between veteran players, the new acquisitions and the young wolves?

The Océanic made several acquisitions during the trade period: Yannik Bertrand, Samuel Dove-McFalls, Colten Ellis, Samuel Gaumond, Chase Stewart. They also drafted Mathieu Bizier, Christopher Innis, Alexis Lafrenière and Dmitri Zavgorodniy. Will all these new arrivals in the Océanic camp, that come to be integrate to the core already in place, succeed in creating the perfect mix for the success of the team?
