Goulet, Hischier and Beaudoin named the three stars of the rivalry week

BOUCHERVILLE, Monday, October 31st, 2016 – Alexandre Goulet, Nico Hischier and Guillaume Beaudoin were named today the three stars of the week for October 24 to 30, 2016.

The Victoriaville Tigres’ forward, Alexandre Goulet is the first star of the week. In 4 games, he scored 2 goals, added 6 assists and was among the three stars 3 out of 4 games. His best game came Sunday while the Tigres were playing the 2nd leg of a home and home series against the Shawinigan Cataractes. He collected 4 points and was named the third star in a 7-6 overtime loss.

Nico Hischier of the Halifax Mooseheads, is the second star. The European forward scored 3 goals and collected 7 points in 3 games. He established a team record for a rookie (most points in one game) on Wednesday when he participated in all of his team’s 6 goals as the Mooseheads beat the Acadie-Bathurst Titan 6-4. He was named the first star of the game as he finished it with 3 goals and 3 assists.

The third star of the week is awarded to the Blainville-Boisbriand Armada defenseman, Guillaume Beaudoin. He had at least one point in every game this week and wasn’t on the ice for any even strength goal score by the opponent. He maintained a +4 rating and the Armada only allowed 6 goals in 3 games. He finished the week with 2 goals and 3 assists.
