Two QMJHL officials at the NHL combine

From August 18th to August 21st in Buffalo, referee OLIVIER GOUIN and linesman JESSE MARQUIS took part in the National Hockey League’s Combine.

This camp aims at bringing together prospect officials who will be followed by the department that hires NHL officials. During this event, officials are undergoing fitness tests on and off the ice, performing during simulated games and taking advantage of the wise advice of guest speakers from the NHL officiating world. More than forty officials from all over Canada and United-States, also from Europe, participated in this Combine.

As for the referee OLIVIER GOUIN, aside from QMJHL games,he will also be officiate American Hockey League games.
