Chabot made his NHL debut last night

SAINT JOHN – The Saint John Sea Dogs wish to congratulate defenceman Thomas Chabot, who made his NHL debut last night for the Ottawa Senators as they hosted the Arizona Coyotes at Canadian Tire Centre.

Chabot, 19, was Ottawa’s first-round pick (18th overall) in the 2015 NHL Draft. The native of Ste-Marie-de-Beauce, Quebec, played the last three seasons with the Sea Dogs, recording 24 goals and 108 points in 168 regular season games.

He will become the twelfth player – and sixth defenceman – in Sea Dogs history to play in an NHL regular season game.
