A four goal 3rd period by the Val D’or Foreurs pushed them to a 5-4 win in Moncton Friday night.
The 3rd period outbusts by the Foreur erased a 2-1 Wildcat lead after 40 minutes and allowed Val D’or to snap Moncton’s four game home winning streak.
Cats received goals from Kyle Haas, his 1st as a Cat, Jacob Sweeney, his first as a Cat , Jonathon Racine and Ross Johnston. Dmitri Jaskin had one assist to extend his point scoring streak to 11 games(8g 15a).
With the loss the Cats slip back into 3rd in the Maritime Division, as the Pei Rocket Doubled up Acadie-Bathurst 6-3.
The Cats out shoot the Foreurs 42-21. Francois Tremblay gets the win, Alex Dubeau suffers the loss.
Moncton is off until Wednesday when the travel to Sydney to face off with the Cape Breton Screaming Eagles.
