Beauchemin, Noel and Goulet named the three stars of the week

BOUCHERVILLE, Monday, November 28th, 2016 – François Beauchemin, Nathan Noel et Alexandre Goulet were named today the three stars of the week for November 21 to 27, 2016.

François Beauchemin, of the Val-d’Or Foreurs, is the first star of the week. In 4 games, 3 of which were on the road, he scored a goal in every game, added 5 assists and maintained a +6 rating. With 9 points, he participated in 41% of his team’s 22 goals this week. He was part of the 3 stars selection in every game. His best game came on Tuesday against the Sherbrooke Phoenix when he collected 4 points in a 10-5 win. He now has 22 goals on the season which is tops in the League.

The second star is awarded to the Saint John Sea Dogs’ forward, Nathan Noel. In 2 games, he accumulated 7 points (6 goals, 1 assist) and had a +3 rating. The Chicago Blackhawk propect scored a hat trick and was named the first star in both games. He was also responsible of scoring the game-winning goal in both games. He now has 23 points in 23 games.

The Victoriaville Tigres’ forward, Alexandre Goulet is the third star of the week. In 2 games, he scored 2 goals, added 6 assists and maintained a +6 rating. The 20 year-old veteran helped his team collect 3 of a possible 4 points this week. He was named the first star in a 5-4 win over the Rouyn-Noranda Huskies when he collected 4 point (2+2). His 8 points this week bring his season total to 38 points, which is good enough for 4th in the League.
