Several QMJHL athletic therapists and equipment managers travelled to Fort Lauderdale from June 21 to 25 to attend a colloquium sponsored by PHATS (Pro Hockey Athletic Trainers Society) and SPHEM (Society Pro Hockey Equipment Managers).
Nathan Belliveau (Acadie-Bathurst), Richard Girardin (Cap-Breton), Serge Haché (Gatineau), Chris MacDonald (Halifax), Mathieu Roussel (Rouyn-Noranda), Stéphane Savard (Québec), Brian St-Louis (Baie-Comeau) and Pat Villeneuve (Victoriaville) travelled to Florida to take part in the event.
They were able to keep tabs on the latest developments in hockey gear while talking to experts from the NHL, AHL and ECHL.
